What it's really about...:
Theory 1: Alice takes shrooms and smokes resulting in one 'bad trip'.
Theory 2: Alice is alone, depressed, and lost in her own head so she creates an imaginary, alternate reality to comfort her and let her find herself.
Theory 3: Alice is hiding in the flowers from someone who has abused or molested her when she falls asleep and has a strange nightmare that allows her to cope but also discover that everyone is mad in there own way but it doesn't always show.
